The Temple is perfect!

Last night, Wednesday January 8, 2014, I had the opportunity of entering the Lords house and receiving my Endowments! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is SO true! The Temple is so perfect in every way! I went through the Denver Colorado Temple! The spirit inside the Temple is SO strong! I met with Sister Bills, the Temple Matron and she gave me some advice and talked to me about how sacred the Temple is. She was awesome! I am so grateful I was able to meet with her! She is so awesome!!! After I met with her, President Bills took me on a tour of the Temple. He walked me into the sealing room. Since I am going to Guatemala, President Bills told me to imagine a beautiful Guatemalan woman and her husband walk into the sealing room followed by their three children. That's when I lost it. I started crying! I am going to help families become forever families! The people I teach who accept the Gospel will one day be able to enter into the Lords house and be sealed for time and all eternity! The Spirit was so strong! After President Bills talked about this imaginary Guatemalan family, he looked me in the eye and said "YOU have a forever family." It gave me chills! I am so grateful for my parents and for the choices they made in order to be sealed together forever! The Church of Jesus Christ is PERFECT. I promise you the Temple is our Saviors house. He loves each and every one of us and he pleads for us to come unto Him. If you don't know this- I would exhort you to find out for yourself. Heavenly Father will answer your prayers if you have the desire! He loves you!!! I can't wait to share what I love with the people of Guatemala and teach them that they are always loved! President Hinckey once said, "You will shed more tears when you leave to go home than you shed when you left home to come here." I truly believe this. I will leave a part of my heart here in Colorado when I leave- but, when I come home- I will be leaving an even bigger part of my heart in Guatemala. I already love the people so much and I haven't even met them yet!

                                                 

 ^This is Mitzi Tolman! I started babysitting for her children when I was just 11 years old! She moved to Houston, Texas not to long ago- and made a trip out to Colorado for just 24 hours to be there while I went through the Temple for my first time!
